Hubble Bubble Organics Super Skin Saver Potion No 2 is packaged in a stunning 50g (1.76oz) clear glass pot with a chrome lid. The container measures approximately 2.3 inches (5.8cm) in diameter by 1.7 inches (4.4cm) in height. The glass is strong and thick, but it is also very good quality as it is completely clear. The jar neck is around 1.9 inches (4.7cm) in diameter. It is easily accessible with fingers or a cosmetic spatula. The base of the jar is ribbed, which increases surface tension and makes the container more stable. The lid twists on and off the pot with a single rotation. The main ingredients contributing to the scent are: Cera alba (beeswax), Cupressus sempervirens (cypress) essential oil, Lavendula angustifolia (lavender) essential oil and Anthemis nobilis (chamomile) essential oil. All are certified organic. Beeswax is warm and comforting. Cypress is woody and herbal. Lavender is fresh, floral and balsamic. Chamomile is warm, herbal, sweet and relaxing. The blend of these ingredients is extremely aromatic. The aroma is not strong but it is noticeable and wears well.

Hubble Bubble Organics Super Skin Saver Potion No 2 has a balm-like consistency. It is solid when in the jar, very soft and easy to scoop out and begins to melt as soon as it is applied. It melts into a thin oil, which spreads easily and is absorbed instantaneously. The only thickener in the moisturiser is beeswax, otherwise the product is made of essential oils. We love balms because of their texture, which is why it is refreshing to encounter a daily moisturiser which consistency-wise is so much like a balm.

We tested the product for four weeks on sensitive and problematic skin, prone to acne, breakouts, large pores, dry patches and irritation. The effect was astonishing: clear, smoother skin, a sizeable reduction in pimples, tighter pores, no more dry patches and no irritation for the entire duration of the trial. The Potion contains only 100% certified organic ingredients. Prunus armeniaca (apricot) oil is highly absorbent and leaves no greasy residue, which is why it is an excellent carrier oil (facilitates the absorption of other ingredients). The oil is rich in oleic and linoleum acids (powerful emollients) and Vitamins A and E (powerful antioxidants). In our opinion, Hubble Bubble Organics Super Skin Saver Potion No 2 is a very effective moisturiser for sensitive and problematic skin.
