Our Mystery Shopper is an independent person who helps us to test the quality of customer care provided by the skin care manufacturers listed on this website. To protect the integrity of the process the identity of the Mystery Shopper must remain a secret. The main task of the Mystery Shopper is simple: to assist us in rating the products featured on the Product Pages by acting like a typical consumer. This includes purchasing from the manufacturer's own stores (online and offline), making enquiries about the product being reviewed, returns and occasionally complaints. Although we employ a number of Mystery Shoppers, every product is normally tested by one member of the Mystery Shopper Team only. However, no one Mystery Shopper ever tests more than a third of the products from the same manufacturer, which minimises the effect of personal preference. In rare instances when the Mystery Shopper is unsatisfied with the quality of the service offered, our observations are forwarded to the manufacturer for review. If an adequate explanation is provided, the manufacturer's response is featured in this section, the Product Page of the relevant product and sometimes in our Forum. Although we cannot help with individual queries regarding customer service, you are welcome to discuss your experiences and to share your views with other users using our Products Pages and the Mystery Shopper section of our Forum.
